Dr. Burdick is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
She grew up in Berlin, NY and got her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Houghton College in 2007. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Osteopathy from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011 and then completed her residency in Family Practice at St. Joseph Hospital in Reading, PA. She practiced in California for 7 years and during that time completed a 1 year Primary Care Psychiatry Fellowship through the University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Burdick enjoys seeing patients of all ages. She has a breadth of knowledge in pediatrics, women's health, addiction medicine, adult and geriatric primary care.
She returned home in 2021 and now resides in North Bennington, VT with her husband and three children. When she is not in the office, she enjoys playing and coaching soccer, gardening and poetry.

A proud New Jersey native, Dr. Charisma Lanez is a compassionate and patient-focused family medicine physician. She provides holistic care for patients of all ages, emphasizing prevention, acute care, and chronic disease management. Driven by empathy and perceptiveness, Dr. Lanez takes time to understand her patients’ unique needs, offering practical, personalized solutions to support their well-being.
Dr. Lanez earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick before pursuing her passion for medicine at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. She completed her residency in family practice at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, NJ, where she served as Chief Resident - a testament to her leadership and dedication to patient-centered care.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Lanez cherishes time with her family—her husband, two children, and their shared love for gardening, beach trips, bike rides, and curling up with a good book. This balance of science and humanity informs her practice: She believes wellness extends beyond the clinic, nurtured by community, nature, and lifelong learning.
Whether caring for children, adults, or entire families, Dr. Lanez combines clinical expertise with a down-to-earth approach, ensuring every patient feels heard and valued.
Dr. Burdick and Dr. Lanez have a vision of creating a small town physician owned practice here in the heart of Southern Vermont. The overarching goal is the health of the patients and the community. They practice with prevention of disease at the forefront and understand the importance of quality of care and quality of life for their patients.
